In general you won’t see us writing too much about how good we are. Hopefully, you will forgive me this blog post is an exception to that rule. After some hard work today we were informed Microsoft recognized us for our compatible application on Windows Azure Platform. After some great work by our developers they managed to migrate our self developed ERP/CRM web application to the Cloud.
From prospect to invoice
” FlowCRM”, we are looking for a better name, was initially developed as a web application using ASP.NET technology. We developed it with small and medium businesses in mind. They are all facing the same problem. It’s hard to control the whole (administrative) process from prospect up to invoice and payment. As a small company we were facing this issue ourselves and we couldn’t find an affordable solution available on the market. That’s when we decided to build FlowCRM.
Today FlowCRM is being provided as a SaaS application. Several customers are already using the browser-based application wherever en whenever they like. We offer accounts from 1 up to an unlimited amount of users. The first 3 months you can test the solution for free. After this trial period on a monthly basis the current amount of users will be invoiced.
Migrating existing web application to the Cloud
The Microsoft ASP.NET and MVC based system made use of an MS SQL 2008 database. Migrating it to the Cloud by using the Windows Azure Platform enables Goyello to quickly provide new clients access to the system. The Azure Platform will increase the availability, scalability and performance of the application. It enables us to better fulfill our clients’ needs.
Soon we will share our experiences with migrating the application to the cloud with you. Meanwhile we will further improve the existing system.
Feel free to give it a try
Below you will find a YouTube movie presenting the core functionality of the application. The movie is in Polish because our application is taking part in a Polish Cloud application competition organised by Microsoft Poland. For the same reason the landing page of the application is temporarily Polish only as well. Login with demo, demo and choose your preferred language yourself. You will find the current version of FlowCRM by clicking here: flowcrm.cloudapp.net.
